Hey! I’m a Portuguese sports photographer living in Ireland since 2010. I’ve been into both sports and photography for as long as I can remember, so combining the two came naturally. I love the energy, emotion, and unpredictability of live sports, and getting to freeze those moments in time is something that never gets old.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to cover some pretty incredible events. I’ve photographed Champions League matches, Six Nations rugby games, international football at senior and U21 level, and was lucky enough to shoot the 2024 Europa League Final in Dublin. I also spend a lot of time covering the League of Ireland, and I’ve built up a huge archive of Camogie, Hurling, Men's and Ladies Gaelic football, and more, both at club and county level.

My work’s been published by newspapers, premier league clubs, in official matchday programmes, websites, books, and even printed on sponsor vehicles (which is still pretty wild to see). I’ve picked up a few photography awards along the way, but honestly, that’s not what drives me.

Alongside photography, I also run a YouTube channel dedicated to sports photography, where I share behind the scenes looks, tutorials, guides, gear reviews, and tips for anyone interested in getting into this field. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I cover everything from camera settings to building a portfolio and navigating the world of sports photography. Helping others grow in this space has become a passion of its own.

What keeps me coming back - rain, shine, mud, or floodlights, is the love of it all. I genuinely enjoy being on the sidelines, camera in hand, capturing moments that matter. Whether it’s a young player’s first goal, a county final win, or just a split-second of pure emotion, those are the moments I live for. And if those photos end up meaning something to the players, their families, or their communities, that’s the real reward.
